The energy supply of the future is characterized by the increasing use of renewable energies, decentralized production, the convergence of networks, and digitalization. Gas and its infrastructure play a central role in this, for example in improving energy efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions.
The Swiss Gas Industry Association introduced the "gazenergie" brand specifically for this purpose. The new brand strategy and name change are part of the industry's strategy for the future. It bundles all existing and future products, technologies, network infrastructures, services as well as applications of gas under one name and with a uniform appearance. The aim is to position gas as an energy source with the new requirements for the energy supply in mind.
Four documentary films and digital measures were implemented as part of the rebranding.
