Wanderzeichen / Graubünden Ferien

The fascinating nature of Graubünden is best enjoyed whilst hiking on a total of 11000 km of hiking trails.

On three selected hiking routes in the different language regions, the landscape painter and Grabünden native Stefan Rüesch designed 15 new hiking trail markings and puts them in the context of Graubünden's nature. The artistic markers bear titles such as “Die Felsengasse” ("The Rock Lane"), “Tausend Horizonte” ("A Thousand Horizons"), “Grüne Säulen” ("Green Pillars") or “Das Rauschen des Palü” ("The Rushing of the Palü"). To ensure that all visitors can understand Rüesch's interpretations, an explanatory plaque has been placed next to each marker.

At the heart of the "Jeder Fleck ein Meisterwerk" (“Every spot a masterpiece”) campaign is the film of the same name, which documents how Stefan Rüesch redesigns the hiking trail markings.
