Gen Z / McDonald's

With over 170 restaurants in Switzerland, the Golden Arches are often a social meeting place for people of all generations.

The film for Gen Z shows that today's family can be anything: Friends, new life partners or good colleagues, or "fam" for short. McDonald's takes on relevance for Gen Z - as a brand and as a place that stands for bringing people together.

The focus is on a classic moment in a love story: the first time the family gets to know each other. The plot twist comes from the zeitgeist: Family means whatever you understand by family - namely, in this case, the besties.

The 45-second spot marked the start of a more extensive Gen Z campaign, which was further expanded to all relevant channels, from TV to cinema to digital media.
